See how we’re continuously expanding Quenza’s features based on our community’s feedback.
2018
Quenza was born out of a common problem in the community of positive psychology practitioners: there was no convenient way to digitally share exercises, worksheets, surveys, or forms with clients and collect their results. We started fantasizing and conceptualizing a solution to this problem.
2019
In the summer of 2019, on the hottest days of the year, we sat down with the founding team to build the prototype for Quenza. We immediately realized the complexity of what we wanted to build, but also found elegant frameworks to help us tackle this complexity.
2020
We started developing Quenza in two-week Scrum sprints. We used a modular approach to build the app, enabling us to steadily release new features while keeping the application extremely user friendly.
At this point, Quenza served as a basic customer relationship management application, allowing practitioners to create profiles for their clients and enter basic information. We began to build on the foundation, to grow Quenza into a full-suite practice management application.
Offering practitioners digital ways to support their clients, Quenza became more relevant overnight, as lockdowns were introduced around the globe and the need for mental health services spiked because of increased fear, worry, and stress.
We added the ability for practitioners to drag and drop their own activities with the activity builder. Whether it’s exercises, homework assignments, assessments, or online learning, practitioners can easily create stunning activities for their clients and save them to their personal library.
With the iOS iPhone/iPad and Android apps practitioners can now easily manage their practice on their phone and tablet.
With this update, practitioners can send out series of activities with a single click and use pathways to automate their intake process, onboarding, progress tracking, and follow-up by scheduling activities with automatic reminders.
For practitioners without time to build their own activities, we added an extensive library of science-based activities and pathways that the positive psychology community loves using with their clients.
Clients can now have their own account to login to Quenza and use the mobile apps. They receive a notification every time their practitioner sends out an activity and can view a personal to-do list with unfinished activities and much more.
2021
With the addition of the client notes section, we added a convenient place for practitioners to document a session or jot down general observations.
Practitioners can add their own logo and select their profession from a predefined list so clients see a custom label in the client app and all email communication.
The chat feature allows clients and practitioners to easily communicate, and it’s fully encrypted. No need to risk sharing sensitive data or a client’s personal health information with Google or Facebook listening in. Practitioners can also decide to enable or disable chat for individual clients.
The Wheel of Life is one of the most popular coaching tools out there. By having clients self-report on different dimensions or aspects of their lives, the resulting pie chart visualizes not just how clients are doing, but also the gap between their current- and their ideal situation. Soon, you can create your own Wheel of Life using Quenza.
Clients are able to use Quenza in their native language. We currently support Danish, English, German, Greek, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hindi, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, and Turkish. More languages will be added based on demand.
This feature allows you to send emails from your own name and email address instead of the Quenza noreply email address. This way clients will know it's you.
With Groups, practitioners can easily send activities and pathways to multiple clients at a time.
Practitioners can easily send messages to multiple clients in the same group, and clients in those groups can interact with each other.
The journaling feature allows your clients to create journal entries and choose to share these with you. You can now also share session notes with your clients and both of you can leave comments on all shared notes.
Both clients and practitioners can safely share PDFs, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents.
2022
Multiple professional accounts – such as in a group practice – can easily and cost effectively be maintained. Transferring some or all clients between professionals can be done with a few clicks.
Bigger, badder chat features to help you communicate between sessions. Now you can add images to group or private chats and make your conversations even more personal.
You now have a lot more control over when Quenza automatically notifies your clients of Activities and Pathways.
Short on time? Our Customer Success team can turn your PDF documents and exercises into beautiful Quenza activities for you.
